A Pitching Superstar’s Golf Swing
Here’s a series of screenshots from a video taken from my iPhone of Kevin Millwood’s (pitcher, MLB) golf swing. His ball flight was low that day and we were trying to figure out how to get the ball up. After reviewing the video, we noticed he was “sliding forward” alittle. After Kevin reviewed the video and the screenshots, he stated that it helped……..wooo hooo ! Check out the video below.

Golfing In The Cold and the Wind.
Here are a couple of videos from golfing in Austin on Christmas Eve. The temperature was about 45 degrees and the wind was gusting up to 45-50 mph ! At times we were hitting a 210 yard club 150 yards.
Check out this video….. now the wind is really blowing! Dr. Wesley Kubo…

I was fortunate enough to attend a conference in Chicago in October 2009 where I was introduced to Verne and engaged in a 3 hour interactive presentation that I’ll never forget. Verne’s concepts (all spelled out in his book: “Mastering the Rockefeller Habits”), were timely and quite honestly impressed over 110 other professionals in the room. Alittle more about Verne below:
Verne is the founder of two world-renowned entrepreneurship organizations, the Young Entrepreneurs’ Organization (YEO) and the Association of Collegiate Entrepreneurs (ACE), Verne is presently founder and CEO of Gazelles, Inc., which serves as an outsourced corporate university for mid-size firms and hosts a faculty of well-known business experts including Jim Collins, Geoff Smart, Jack Stack, Neil Rackham, Seth Godin, and Pat Lencioni and sponsors best practices trips to GE, Southwest Airlines, Microsoft, and Dell.
The “Growth Guy” columnist for several publications and a contributing editor for Fortune Small Business magazine, Verne is the author of Mastering the Rockefeller Habits: What You Must Do to Increase the Value of Your Fast-Growth Firm, which has been translated into Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Named one of the “Top 10 Minds in Small Business” by Fortune Small Business Magazine (FSB), he appeared on the cover of the Dec/Jan 2002 issue of the magazine.

Mike Carufel is a professional golfer from San Diego. He is currently the Head Golf Professional at Shadow Ridge Golf Club in San Diego. It is amazing how long he holds the angle (LAG), and the results are …… LONG!
Robert Upham is a golf professional from Houston, Texas. He travels all over the country giving instruction to serious golfers wanting to improve their swing.
